Climbed an old volcanoe yesterday, and got to see a real live active one! Was an amazing day, which unfortuately had a bad ending. A car clipped my door

as I got out of the tour car at the end of the day. Thats kinda crap since I´m not sure my insurance covers it, slimy bastards! well, as they say.... shit happens.

Yay! A big cone of dirt!

I really wanted to go to Pazcuaro, but it doesn´t look like that will happen since the Dia De Muertos (day of the dead) festival is in full swing and that town (which is supposed to be one of the nicest in mexico) is the focal point of it all. Would be an amazing time to be there but no where to stay!

Whoops..

mexico so far :)

Got here ok. took us a while to gt out of northern Baja.

Tijuana... fun if you like going to the pub and strip clubs! has some good eats though. don't get ice in your margarita though. I got sick on the second day (yay!) so only just enjoyed San Phillipe, but it really wasn't that bad.

Hopefully will get to the mainland by Friday/Saturday.

Bit of a blower that day :)

more egocentrical stuff :)

Doc Watson, the original North Carolina hill billy. This guy was amazing. He and his buddies came up with bluegrass.... still lives in the Smoky mountains, which look just like most of Australia's mountains.

Oh... and he was completely blind. Always had been. His sister was also blind. recessive genes are a bitch! But he seemed to manage alright.

I Started this ride today at sea level. Bit of a climb but isn't it amazing! We finished on a beautiful beach just north of San Francisco, dirking beer and eating Sicilian olives.. Yum. Yeah Ell I found some here. Wish you were here to eat them with me :)

mountain biking Tahoe with a kick stand..

The Sierra's are one of the best mountain biking trails in the world, and I did it with a
kickstand in toe!

Look closely and you can see Tahoe in some of these. 13 miles at up to 10,000 ft, thats as high as I've ever been, and its amazing riding here... glad I stopped smoking the airs pretty thin.

The first bike lane in the world, started right on the corner of Sycamore and 8th in Davis.
